Is the new JEE mains system better for NITs?
NO not at all.
Explanation:
I got 323/360 in JEE Main (2013) with a 93.6 % in CBSE 2013. Rank-617
My friend got 271/360 in JEE Main (2013) with a 96.2 % in CBSE 2013. Rank-<600 (I won't disclose the exact figure here)
A difference of 13 marks in Boards overshadowed the difference of 52 marks (13x4) in JEE-Main.
This clearly explains that the new normalization process is unfair and biased towards board toppers.
Had it been truly 40% boards and 60% JEE-Main, the scenario would have been completely different.
Although I am not at all affected because of my good performance in JEE-Advanced but what about those who couldn't do well in JEE-Advanced.
Will their career be destroyed?
WHY ALL EXPERIMENTS ON 2013 BATCH ?
THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD HAVE GIVEN ATLEAST A 3 YEAR NOTICE REGARDING THE CHANGE IN IIT-JEE PATTERN SO THAT THE STUDENTS WOULD HAVE PREPARED THEMSELVES BEFOREHAND.
NOISE IS MEASURED IN DECIBEL
NONSENSE IS MEASURED IN "KAPIL SIBAL"
