Low sex ratio in IITs and its effects on mentality of Boys and Girls.

This article is little bit different from our other articles. And forgive if against your belief.
Sex ratio in IITs is 'CRITICALLY LOW' as 1:10 to 1:20!!
First I'd like to talk about its effects on mentality of boys and then will look forward for girls. Its effects on MENTALITY of BOYS from a boy's view:- The SEX RATIO affects the governing dynamics in IIT campuses: It doesn't matter how much you ignore it,
this thing gets into your head IITs have approximately 10:1 (male:female) ratio. But
most 'multinational companies' like to maintain male:female ratio between 2:1 and 4:1 (it counts towards employee satisfaction. I'm not kidding). That is why the girls in IITs get an advantage during intern short lists or placements. And most of the boys feel
jealous on girls.

There are always enough number of guys who swarm around them like bees, whether for real or around their facebook photos by 'liking' the 'worst' of those. The girls, having the better of them taken over, tend to lose a conscience to this and start taking the guys for granted, and don't feel any guilt for breaking their
hearts.There are exceptions to this, both in guys and girls. These are some nice people unaffected by this hovering fact.
The girls are wanted everywhere, not just inside the campus but outside it too. Be it the higher education institutes (IIMs have 'diversity points', American Universities prefer 'gender inequality') or the companies (they have 'sex ratio' policies). So, in short
the girls have to face less amount of competition in order to secure a good position somewhere after their graduation from IIT. While if you are a guy, you might
have to work your 'ass off' even to get a decent position after your B.Tech. So, never ever should you let your grades fall below a certain limit, say seven or six.

Now about Its effects on MENTALITY of GIRLS from a girl's view:-
Any girl in IIT soon ends up realizing that a bunch of JEE qualified people does not necessarily mean that they would be free of the bias against women. A fact is not all IITians are nerds or geeks. Most boys here think of girls in an utterly derogatory manner,
considering the girls just an object for admiration. Most of them are of the opinion that girls aren't meant for anything that would require brains. Some boys have gone to the extent of telling girls that they get into student groups just because of their gender. There are some disgusting time restrictions in IITR and IITM recently proposed that girls shouldn't go out of hostel after 11 p.m. without a male escort. A lot of times it so happens that people would want to help you out with lab assignments just because you are a girl and are not considered capable or worthy enough of completing the assignments yourself. This happens particularly in mechanical dept. practicals.
